    • Crash-recovery: stampEntityTree recorded the allocated generation counter rather than the committed generation, manufacturing false INCOHERENT verdicts after a crash mid-fold; stamp and open now both reason in committed truth, and a genuinely-ahead stamp gets its own torn verdict that demotes in O(1) with both count sets narrated (0 tears across 24 seeded SIGKILL cycles)
    • A crash-consistency lane (seeded kill cycles) joins the gate so this class stays gated
    • Packed-history density: reclaim work reducing generational-history disk growth
